Agile Software Development / eXtreme Programming
The mediation of profund knowledge in eXtreme Programming is the motivation for a series of successfull well established pratical labs. In general, computer-science students from Uni Bonn, b-it and RWTH Aachen have the possibility to explore this agile way of software development in a team for approximately four weeks.
Agile Software Development - Lab and Seminar 2010
Internet usage on mobile devices like the iPhone or Android based mobile phones differs fundamentally from the traditional desktop-based web browsing. Nevertheless information from the desktop-based interaction with web sites can be used to adapt those web pages dynamically to the mobile requirements while taking the context of the user into account.
With agile software development methods like eXtreme Programming (XP), this lab aims to develop a prototype of such an adaptation middleware: Structural information known from web site usage analysis is used to optimize web pages for the iPhone and other mobile clients.
